Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Since March, we have become a little busier in the Lord’s work at home.  We assisted in the Spring Out-Reach Program at Mays Landing Baptist.  It started with the “B” service which expounded on the “Bus” Ministry.  We had the bus and van both packed out.  In turn, we had seen many new adults come out as well.  What a blessing!  We had seen many come to know the Lord and were baptized. Judy and I were able to present the Gospel (personally) with several young boys and one Girl. Some did not accept, however a few wanted to pray for their salvation. We have written their names in our bibles and continue to pray for them each day.  This program was a giant success and was planned to last six weeks (until April, 19.)  However, the Lord had more in store The “B” service went up to June 14th.

The following weekend, our Pastor and his family were off to the wedding of the fifth of  his eight children.  Thus, George was asked to fill the pulpit for Father’s Day morning service. We had a couple of brother’s in Christ fill Sunday school and evening service as well.  It was truly blessed day.  We were able to stay at church for a Bar-B-Q to celebrate Father’s Day for George and Pop Parks.  George said it was the best way to spend the day (Feeding of the Word, Steaks and Gospel Music at dinner.)

In March, we had a need for George to pick up temporary full-time employment with a company called Roto-Rooter.  This was very profitable monetarily, but poor spiritually. After the bills were caught up (end of June) he began to work for himself again, We were receiving calls from our prior customers,  The Lord lead us to resume self employment which allows the flexibility needed for a family and ministry balance.  God is so good.

April 26, we went the Open Bible Baptist in Millville again for our bi-yearly update.  It is always a blessing to spend time with the brothers and sisters in Christ.

May seemed like a month of celebrating Mother’s Day.  May 2nd was the Mother’s Day banquet at Mays Landing Baptist.  May 16th we were invited to the Mother Daughter Brunch at Open Bible Baptist of Williamstown.  In between, May 10th, we shared our ministry with Faith Independent Baptist of Frostburg, MD.   It was an excellent way to spend Mother’s Day, in service with the family.  Judy was blessed with a flower for each child.

June was the month of Revival, June 7th and 11th; we were blessed to be in Open Bible Baptist of Millville, to hear Evangelist, Bill Berhens.  Then from, May 8th to May 10th, we were blessed to have been invited to a Jubilee in Ephrata, PA. Then from June 27th – July 4th, we were able to host a family in our home. They were from Michigan and here for a Tent meeting at Faith Baptist in Pittsgrove. On June 27th, we were assisting with a wedding party for Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Fulleylove at Mays Landing Baptist.  We were able to attend meetings at Faith Baptist on June 30th and July 2nd.  We are truly revived.

Currently, we praying and searching for more meetings.  May the Lord lead us to the churches “HE” wants us to minister to.

Praises:

1.         We thank the Lord for his provision during this poor economical time.

2.         We continually praise the Lord for the missionary housing.

Prayer requests:

  1. Pray for the much needed meetings that the Lord would lead us to.
  2. Prayer for the children’s up coming schooling as we prepare to return to home schooling.
  3. Pray for the economics of housing.  The trailer park (our missionary home is in) was bought out by new owners in April, which brought about a new set of rules for the park and a monthly lot rent.  Continue to pray for our provisions.

In Christ’s Work,

George & Judy Pine
